Millennium Volunteers

Millennium Volunteers

Millennium Volunteers is a national initiative to recognise volunteering by 16-24 year olds. The overall aim of the scheme is to complete 200 hours of volunteering in a year. Certificates are awarded at 50 hours and 100 hours of volunteering and an Award of Excellence is awarded for completing 200 volunteering hours.

Certificates are awarded regularly at Vale Volunteer Bureau presentation events.

Being a Millennium Volunteer is highly regarded by major employers and UCAS and is an excellent addition to your CV or personal statement.

If you are between 16 and 24 and volunteer already, then why not sign up to the scheme to gain the rewards of being a Millennium Volunteer!

If you are thinking of volunteering or are just starting up, then register to MV and count up your hours as you go!
