All the information you’ll ever need
Together with our partners at the Vale Centre for Voluntary Services we have developed a series of invaluable information sheets for people running not-for-profit organisations.
They cover all the practical and legal aspects of starting up and operating successfully. As you might expect, there is a substantial section devoted to recruiting and working with volunteers.

Funding for volunteer development
Organisations which are serious about helping young volunteers to develop and grow may qualify for substantial funding.
The Millenium Volunteers scheme is a highly regarded national initiative which recognises the achievements of young people who complete 200 hundred hours of volunteering in a year.

Investing in Volunteers accreditation
Investing in Volunteers is the UK quality standard for all organisations which involve volunteers in their work.
The standard enables organisations to comprehensively review their volunteer management, and also publicly demonstrates their commitment to volunteering.

We are approved assessors for the Investing in Volunteers award. To find out more please contact us.
