VVB Celebrates the Achievments of Young Volunteers at the Senedd

 

On Thursday 10th March the Vale volunteer Bureau held its annual Dish out Dosh event. The event Celebr8 the gr8 was held in the Senedd thanks to Jane Hutt AM who kindly sponsored the event and allowed us to house it in the Welsh Parliament building.

It was a fantastic evening with 25 young people receiving their Millennium and Star Volunteer certificates for 50, 100 and 200 hours. 9 organisations who were awarded Dish out Dosh funding also presented and showcased their projects to the audience.

A big thank you to Jane Hutt for your support and Mike Fowler (professional footballer) for your speech on the night. Well done to everyone who presented their projects and to those young people who were awarded certificates – Well Done!! Thank you to everyone who attend such a great event.
